Cabo Rojo, the Town
where the National Wild Refuge is,
which is run by the US Wild Life and Fish.
It is full of mangroves, sea turtles,
freshwater shrimps, rare migratory birds.
In the Salinas, (salt production)
also called Corozo Salt Flats,
close to the Lighthouse in Combate,
is another wild life environment
for endangered species.
Another place to see is the Boqueron Forest Bird Refuge
located at the south of the Poblado
consists in more than 400 acres of mangroves wetlands.
It is nice to walk the trails.
But Boqueron is international known
as a protected bay.
The Bars and the small houses of the Poblado.
Pirate’s Town, where you will get lots of Pirates
and treasuries stories.
A sunset in Boqueron is something nobody wants to loose.
People live very relaxed and in “no hurry”,
eating oysters and sharing with others.
Everybody is welcome to Boqueron.
Cabo Rojo includes the beaches named
Combate and Joyuda in the Caribbean Sea.
Joyuda have a lot of high quality restaurants.
